Hays, KS (March 2, 2022):
After two years of bunker-life, avoiding people as much as practically possible, it’s time to get out to convene with the Loopy Human Circus. I have to say, producing the weekly whirlwind Twitterverse tour was therapeutic for me… if for no other reason than occupying solid chunks of time. I can’t fathom what mental-state might have won out had i not kept busy with work matters and this little extra project.
As well, it’s been a hoot diggin’ for the week’s “Loopcircus Peekaboo,” global, national, state, and local stories to follow, comment on, and sometimes even lampoon. But i’m ready now, to move on. Ease back into what passes for a social existence for senior citizens. Who knows… you may catch me busking on a street corner somewhere, or even… <gasp> in a tavern, making sure to hydrate with every serving of yeast excrement consumed. I used to have fun… i don’t really miss it, but i think i can do it again.
At least, i won’t avoid it anymore… on purpose.
